OUR STORY

Thy Barber was founded by Frank D. Rimer in 2014. 

Starting off as a pop barbershop, working predominately at Tattoo shows and Kustom Kulture shows across the U.K and Europe.

Eventually moving into the famous Bike Shed in Shoreditch as a very successful concession store.

Frank moved on to being a global Educator, teaching in salons and on stages across the globe. Having articles in numerous magazines about him and his team such as BarberEvo, Modern Barber Mag, Grazia, GQ, Clutch Magazine, and also having editorials published in VOGUE.

Leading him on to becoming an ambassador for the industries leading brands such as Hunt & Hustle (scissors), Copacetic Gent and Oil Can Grooming (styling products)

Later becoming a U.K Educator for global name WAHL

In 2019 Thy Barber relocated. From the little space they had before of 3x6 meters, to a beautifully decorated 19th century shop spread over two floors in East Londons famous Cheshire St. just a few yards from Brick Lane

Thy Barber's new location takes inspiration from Americas deep south. 

Traditional 1870s colonial decor, classically dressed with apothecary style furnishings, and the sounds of yesteryear playing on the speakers. This shop will guarantee to take you back to a time to when life was much more simple.

The team at Thy Barber have been hand selected and trained in house.
